just found out that gen x really doesnt get that cancelling isn't gonna ruin anyone's career if they listen to their pr teams and that they do it to celebs too. this is wild to me.
they're so scared of the liberal agenda that the second some old fuck they vaguely know about says they're being hunted for sport by the blue haired pronoun people, they immediately jump on that person's side with no interest in finding further context. meanwhile the reasons they were cancelled for their political beliefs usually come down to them bullying leftists and minorities on twitter, spouting white supremacist dogwhistles, or saying suuuuper fucked up shit about national tragedies or sensitive topics they have no right to be speaking on period, let alone so callously.
but no we all decided to ruin the careers of these people we don't even care about for no reason other than we're not being catered to. it's never that we just don't like them and talk shit on the internet or the person was being a straight up bigot or fuckin criminal. nah we're just lil haters who are out to get the conservatives lmao. watch out.

Love Island’s Megan penned a heartfelt post about the 'vilification' of women and we're so here for it
Just because Love Island is officially over, doesn’t mean the cast have escaped the media’s attention.
One islander who seems to be struggling with the attention that’s come with the show is Megan.
Over the weekend, Megan took to Instagram to share a lengthy post in which she called people out for the ‘vilification of women’.
She posted the statement, which Caroline Flack congratulated her on during the Love Island: The Reunion show, after cancelling a number of public appearances after leaving the villa.
The cryptic post read: “Today I really feel that I need to address some of the stories out there about me on behalf of women in general,” she wrote.
“I support all women, regardless of the choices they make about what they do with their bodies. My dad always told me unless you’ve walked in someone’s shoes then don’t judge them.
“It’s 2018 and it’s time we stopped allowing the vilification of women in the media. Thank you to all of the amazing women that have and continue to follow my journey.
“Your messages of support mean so much to me. I won’t allow stories like these to stop me from be a free thinking, confident, independent young woman striving to make a better life for myself and my family.”
You tell ’em, Megan!
Here’s what happened when we met Megan before she flew into the villa…
Megan on her biggest fears about going into the villa
I might be a bit awkward – a bit like how Camilla from last year was in the beginning! Because I can be shy. I’m quite pleased to be going in when I am and in some ways I have an advantage as I’ve already been able to suss some of them out.
Megan’s biggest claim to fame
I was on the cover of 66 magazine – that’s the best thing I’ve achieved so far. I’ve been DM’d by the odd celeb. And I dated a footballer once – I’m not naming names, though.
You won’t believe how many people have already applied for Love Island
Megan’s thoughts on cheating
I think it’s very cowardly. Be honest. To me, even it was going to get me in trouble, I’d rather say ‘sorry I don’t fancy you anymore.’ I had to do it with the guy I was seeing last. It’s greedy as well, and wrong. It really angers me.
Megan on her dream man
Making me laugh and having a good conversation. Not someone just being overly flirty. Deep conversation and having that banter with someone.
I don’t like arrogance, like when a guy is too cocky. That’s what put me off Adam. Who gives themselves a 9 out of 10?
Dark and tanned looks-wise, but I’m definitely more about personality. Some of my friends are like ‘what are you playing at?’ with the people I go for. I love it when you can chat endlessly with someone. I like Niall and Eyal. Niall is perfection – I have a thing for mouths and he has such a good mouth. Normally I go for older guys but both of them are so attractive. I’m quite spiritual and I like yoga and I think Eyal has more to him that I want to discover.
Megan on the other islanders
I think I will get on with Dani. She’s real and isn’t holding anything back. She’s not bitchy and says it how it is. I’m not sure about Hayley. I felt sorry for Georgia and Rosie when they walked in, given how Hayley reacted. The only couple I wouldn’t want to break up is Laura and Wes because I can tell they really like each other. The two boys I like, I won’t hold back!
The Love Island 2018 cast is hotting up, with new bombshells already
Megan on her different look
I think the first obvious thing that makes me different is my look. The other girls are all very toned and I’m quite curvy. I’ve got big boobs and a big bum. I’m very real. I’m more chilled than the other girls. In that way I’m more like a guy, very laid back.
Megan on her best attributes
I’m very honest. A lot of people our age play games or put across an impression of how they want to be seen, and then their true colours come out. My mum says sometimes I’m too honest. I’m also very loyal. My boobs often get complimented.
